International Latin American (Excluding Brazil and Columbia) Leadership Entrance Award

• Must be an international student from a county in Central America or South America (excluding Brazil) with a valid Study Permit (to be confirmed by the International Office)
• Have a minimum average of 70% in the final year of secondary study and be registered full time in any post-secondary program
• Be in level 1 (or in the first semester with advanced standing) and be in the first post-secondary program at Fanshawe College
• Have demonstrated community involvement/volunteer work
• For undergraduate studies, have a minimum IETLS score of 6.0 or TOEFL score for 80
• For graduate studies, have a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 or TOEFL score 90
• Applicants must submit a letter in English by email to Nelson Melgar by the first day of classes for their starting term, outlining their contributions to the community and why they should receive the scholarship. Applicants will be considered based on their letter, English scores and community involvement.
• Disbursement is based on successful completion of level 1 (achieving a GPA of 2.0 or greater) and registered in level 2*
• Students do not apply for this award. It is selection based on the above criteria
