Theresa Vander Hoeven
Theresa Vander Hoeven’s support of student success at the College spans four decades. Theresa was a faculty member from 1973 to 2004, during which time she was instrumental in launching Fanshawe’s Fashion Design program. Since her retirement from teaching, she has continued to support students by establishing an endowed scholarship.
Impact
The Theresa Vander Hoeven Award of Excellence recognizes an outstanding graduate of Fanshawe’s Fashion Design program who demonstrates, among other things, leadership, initiative and a consistent display of precision and excellence in pattern drafting and garment production.
