Maria G. Mendes
Maria Mendes graduated from Fanshawe’s Legal Secretarial program in 1973. She went on to become a well-known London lawyer, serving numerous community and professional committees, including chairing the Fanshawe College Board of Governors. In 1993, Maria was recognized with a prestigious Premier’s Award.
Impact
The Maria G. Mendes Premier’s Award was established to assist a full-time student in the Law Clerk program who has an active involvement within the College or wider community.
