Les Marmitons
Les Marmitons is a gastronomic and social club with 19 chapters across North America. Members are a diverse group of men who enjoy cooking together (under the direction of a chef) and building friendships through shared common interests in fine food, wine and the culinary arts. In 2011, Les Marmitons’ London chapter – which meets and cooks in Fanshawe’s kitchens – established three annual awards to share their interest with students.
Impact
Les Marmitons Awards were established to encourage and support students in select Fanshawe’s School of Tourism, Hospitality and Culinary Arts programs who demonstrate above average academic performance, a positive attitude and a passion for cooking.
