Gayle Cronin and Lynn Watson
Gayle Cronin and Lynne Watson established a graduate award in memory of their father, Bill Watson. Bill was a long-standing member of the Fanshawe community from 1968 to 1993. Over his 25 years at the College, he served as faculty in the Recreation and Leisure Services program, was Chair of the Social Sciences and Humanities division and Dean of Applied Arts.
Impact
Established in 2004, the Bill Watson Memorial Recreation and Leisure Services Graduate Award recognizes a full-time student who demonstrates leadership skills and significant personal growth through the completion of the Recreation and Leisure Services program. The award is a wonderful way to remember Bill while supporting students as they begin their careers.
